Nicky Catterwell and Sandra Baranauskiene - Flute and Piano duet

 

Nicky and Sandra have recently come together and are working towards recitals featuring a wide variety of styles from baroque to contemporary.

Nicky -  studied for her Masters degree in Music Performance at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama specialising on flute and piccolo.

​

As well as working with local bands and composers on recording projects, Nicky is kept teaching and performing with a number of ensembles in the Kent area and has been Principal Flute for the Barstow Orchestra since 2015.

​

Sandra - is a highly skilled piano teacher with more than 15 years experience. She attained her Bachelor degree at the Music Conservatoire in Lithuania and continued her education to become a Suzuki teacher.

​

Sandra has participated in lots of international workshops and competitions, along with her students, winning diplomas and special prizes in Belgium, Holland and Austria. Her students regularly have an opportunity to perform in the Royal Academy of Music and for other international competitions. Sandra has been developing her career as an accompanist, enjoying playing with other musicians in ensembles oi choirs.
