Temple Dinsley Suzuki Camp: A Harmony-Filled Adventure!

Temple Dinsley is a vibrant and activity-filled 4-day Suzuki Camp set in the sanctuary of a mixed boarding school within the rolling hills of the Chilterns. The course is open to children (and their parents) from the age of 3 who play string instruments (violin, viola, cello) or piano and learn with a Suzuki Teacher.

The children adore their few days, learning more about playing their instrument and 'music making' in a wider sense!

In addition to individual and group tuition, the course offers organised games, creative arts, dalcroze, orchestra, improvisation, singing, sport facilities, musicianship, music mind games, ensemble, chamber music, and a large indoor swimming pool. 

Parents can join inspirational talks and music-making events in the evenings, including choir and orchestra, where you can bring your instrument.

During private lessons, teachers work individually with 4 children in a session. This popular and interesting format enables children and parents to learn from the individual tuition of other children. Traditional Suzuki group sessions and play-togethers are always instructive and fun. For younger siblings exist a free musicianship class and in the end everyone has the opportunity to perform in a Monday Recital Platform.

Accommodation is either in one of the boarding houses or, for the more adventurous can bring a tent and enjoy the wonderful views over the southern Chilterns.

Sandra and Aidas, one of the "Traite de piano" family, participated with Adele and Izabele at Summer Suzuki Camp - Temple Dinsley in August 2024. Their personal experience was amazing! A great atmosphere for music and creativity, with workshops, group lessons, and singing lessons for children. Inspirational parent talks are given during the four days, during which children are looked after in musicianship sessions. Sports activities for the whole family are also available. All like-minded people and only Suzuki families gather.
